My husband and I purchased this lamp around four months ago for our 6 year anniversary. We read the reviews before buying, and the only compliant anyone had was about a broken three-way switch. We decided that we only needed one setting, so we went ahead and bought the lamp. SOOO glad we did!! Not only is the lamp heavy and sturdy, but it's also very stylish, and would go with almost any decor. My mom liked it so much that she asked for one for Christmas! I think we only have a 60 watt bulb in, and it puts off just enough light for our purpose. Oh, and neither the website description, nor the box and instructions mentioned a three-way switch.

I have owned this lamp for 4 years now and it has withstood my hyper dogs knocking it over several times. It looks a lot more expensive than what it is.

I bought this lamp for my living room and was very impressed with the quality, especially for the price. It is a very heavy, stury lamp and then glass globe on top is really pretty, heavy glass. Very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased the lamp online in February, but just moved into my new apartment and put the lamp together. It looked beautiful, but the switch was broken when I turned it on. It would only turn to the first setting. I contacted Target and was told that I could not return the item since it was after the 90 days. I was told that I could contact the manufacturer hotline at Target for the manufacturer information so I could contact them. It looks like I am not the first to have this problem with this lamp...

I love this lamp! It's nice and tall, nice, heavy wrought iron in a bronze finish. The scrolls on the legs make it look so "fancy" and much more expensive than it actually cost.

This is a beautiful, sturdy lamp! We bought ours 5 years ago and have never had a problem. It has lasted through 1 move and 2 children. Nice sturdy base so that my toddlers can't pull it over. We love it!

The lamp is of good quality. I had no problem with the functionality of the switch. Simple assenbly. Beautiful. That is why I gave it 5 stars. However I expect I will return due to the fact that they are listed as brown and show in the picture to be brown with tan glass. The glass is white and the base is such a dark brown that they appear black unless they are in super bright sunlight. The outside of the box lists them as black. Shipping 2 lamps cost nearly as much as another lamp. For that part 0 stars.

This lamp was a lot nicer than I expected. It's quite heavy and seems well balanced. However, the glass shade was broken but Target sent a replacedment lamp very quickly. I thought the switch on the replacement lamp was broken at first because it was very hard to turn. Once it did turn, it loosened up and works perfectly now.
